It is Sunday 1st June 2025.
I am excited to be going to Mello in Chiswick on Tuesday for the 2 days. This time I will stay in the venue The Clayton Hotel. I usually stay at the Kew Travel Lodge, which is fine but not where the bar socialising happens.
I hope to do a Mello report again and then I expect to publish more frequently going forward.
If you are a Mello attender I hope we meet and have a chat. I am an avid investor, very keen. My results are OK, sometimes very good and sometimes very poor, but getting better at ditching the mistakes quickly and running the winners. Like most things in investing, much easier to say than to do. Theoretically it should be easy to buy in stage 2, review in stage 3 and dump before a stage 4 turn down. That’s my strategy these days as buy and hold forever hasn’t worked for me.
I think investing has changed a bit and it has become harder in these difficult times. Or is it just the same as it has always been?
